| The vision and mission of Access Weight-Loss Care, LLC, is to provide easy access to adjustments for all gastric band patients, regardless of when and where they received their FDA approved LAP-BAND® or Realize Band®. The fact of the matter is that most experienced surgeons can perform the gastric band procedure perfectly, and many surgeons are dedicated and committed to providing the follow-up care that the band patients require. However, few providers have mastered the art of adjusting the gastric band, which is necessary to help patients achieve: |

| As a LAP-BAND® patient myself, I truly know what you are experiencing. If your band is not tight enough, you may find yourself to be very hungry, frustrated or even disappointed that you aren’t loosing the weight you desire. If your band is too tight, you may experience some of the following; heartburn, acid reflux, loss of sleep due to coughing and choking, no weight loss and possible weight gain because you’re eating ice cream and chocolate as they are the only things that will go down. However, if you are adjusted to your appropriate fluid level, you will be the happiest person in the world. When you are adjusted properly you will not feel hungry and you will no longer be thinking of food all day. You will experience steady weight loss, and feel satisfied when eating about 2 meals per day. |
| Being a band patient does not mean that you can no longer go to your favorite restaurant, but it does mean that you may perhaps eat a cup of soup and an appetizer and be content. The best part is that you may find that your medical problems will begin to improve and in some cases even be resolved. |

After much thought and consideration, I decided that Englewood, New Jersey would be the best place to establish a lap band adjustment care center. This location offers patients throughout New Jersey/New York and abroad, the opportunity to receive the appropriate level of lap band care necessary to achieve success. Do not be fooled into thinking that Lap Banding was the wrong weight loss operation for you. If your doctor does not recommend seeing you every 4-6 weeks, then they are not providing you the best care possible. In order for you to succeed with the lap band, it must be monitored regularly. If you are getting hungry every few hours, are eating too much and not losing weight, then you probably need a lap band adjustment.
My goal is to help you achieve success through proper and expert band adjustment and follow-up. If you are getting frustrated because you are not being provided appropriate follow-up care or if you are getting adjusted under fluoroscopy and being charged a fortune to get an adjustment which may be preventing you from getting the care you deserve, please call us for an appointment. |

In order to receive your care at Access Wt-Loss Care LLC, by Gaspar Rosario, APN-C, you must obtain a copy of your operative report a recent esophagram (x-ray to assess band placement) and have had a consultation with Dr. Stefanie Vaimakis, my collaboraing physician in New Jersey. Although you may already be receiving your care by Gaspar Rosario, APN-C, NP-C, (Board Certified Nurse Practitioner) at another institution, you must obtain these records because Access Wt-Loss Care, LLC, is a separate and totally independent practice not affiliated legally or financially with any other hospital. If you encounter a situation which will require a surgical intervention or the attention of a medical doctor or surgeon, you will be referred back to your surgeon. Access Wt-Loss Care, LLC is a gastric banding adjustment care center. The services rendered at this site by Gaspar Rosario, APN-C pertains only to the management of the gastric band, if you have other medical issues please consult your primary care provider. |
